HISTORY
Half Square Triangle units—also known as HSTs—first began appearing in pieced patchwork dating back to the late 1800s. These timeless units have remained a foundation of traditional quilting ever since, loved for their simplicity, versatility, and practicality.
You’ll probably notice HSTs appear throughout much of my work. I’m endlessly drawn to their practical beauty and the way they create movement and texture from such a simple shape. Paired with soft quilted cotton and warm leather details, this tote feels both timeless and useful—the kind of bag that only gets better with age.
